Umpire Equipment

In order to umpire women's or girls' lacrosse you will need the following:-


(1) Current IFWLA (FIL) rulebook
(2) Whistle (Fox 40 recommended)
(3) Set of red, yellow and green cards
(4) Umpire shirt (black and white vertical stripes)
(5) Yellow advantage flag

All of the above items are available from English Lacrosse. From the Links page you can also access alternative providers.

Please note that you will not be field tested for a Local (L1) rating or above unless you are wearing stripes and have all the listed items.
