From this page you can check whether your qualification is current or whether someone else is a qualified umpire. You can also find contact details for umpires in your region.

Only those people whose names appear on the current umpires list are eligible to umpire women's lacrosse or any girls' lacrosse matches organised by the ELA, such as the National Schools' Tournament. Apprentice umpires may not be eligible for all games. Please contact assignor@laxumps.co.uk if you wish to check the level of qualification required for a particular game or tournament.


The current umpires list has been amended to reflect the changes in terminology. That may mean that your name now appears in a different section of the list. Please contact administrator@laxumps.co.uk with any questions.

If you held a current qualification but failed to take the online rules test by the deadline, you are no longer qualified and have been deleted from the list. Contact administrator@laxumps.co.uk to identify what you need to do to regain a qualification.


If your name is not on the current umps list but you believe that you are a qualified umpire, please email us on administrator@laxumps.co.uk stating when and where you last took an official umpiring course and, when, where, by whom and at what level you were rated at a field test.

If your name is highlighted in green on the list, your qualification is about to expire on the date shown. We hope that you will wish to renew your rating - please check the Calendar and contact administrator@laxumps.co.uk for opportunities to do so, and see the relevant section of the Umpire Training page for the rating criteria at your level.

We are also aiming to set up an umpire-assigning service which will enable schools, clubs and colleges to input their match schedules and seek neutral qualified umpires for those games. Meanwhile, if you require umpires please contact assignor@laxumps.co.uk
